GAGA'S ACCEPTANCE SPEECH:  "I feel so blessed to be here. And it's true, doesn't matter who you are.. .gay, straight, bi, lesbian, transgendered.... you were born this way."  Kudos to you Gaga for your devotion and support of the LGBT community.
ADELE'S PERFORMANCE:  "Some Like You" (Amazing)
KANYE & JAY-Z:  Surprise Performance of "Otis"
BEYONCE IS PREGNANT:  As always, B killed it on stage, and ended her "Love on Top" performance by unbuttoning her sequence blazer to expose her baby bump and announce that she and Jay-Z are expecting.
AMY WINEHOUSE HONORED:  Including BRUNO MARS sang a tribute for the late singer by performing Winehouse's cover "Valerie"

NICKI MINAJ: What the f*ck were you wearing??  You're not Lady Gaga!  And you don't need a SARS mask!
JUSTIN BIEBER LOST HIS STYLIST BUT REALLY LOVES JESUS: Your new look is atrocious and your acceptance speeches thanking "my lord and savior jesus christ" makes me think you should be preaching the good word form a church podium with MC Hammer.  PS: Why the hell did you bring a snake to the show with you?
KATY PERRY: What's with the cube of cheddar on her head? 
VMA PRE-SHOW:  Totally Lame!
BRITNEY SPEARS TRIBUTE: The montage of Britney Spears hits in double time left much to be desired.  As was the number of little girls performing in that act that just had me confused.

JERSEY SHORE & CLORIS LEACHMEN:  The 'Jersey Shore' girls and Chloris Leachmen presenting "Best Female Video" was just plain awkward!
LADY GAGA'S ALTER EGO JO CALDERONE & BRITNEY SPEARS "ALMOST KISS": Gaga and Britney's "almost kiss" seemed to start in good fun but ended uncomfortably with the duo on stage and Spears introducing Beyonce's performance.
KATIE HOLMES PRESENTS AT THE VMAs:  Huh?  Holmes presenting at the VMAs just felt out of place.  Besides, we didn't realize she was allowed out of the house without Tom!
JO CALDERONE: Gaga, you're amazing, and we love you.  Just not sure about your decision to commit to character for the ENTIRE night.
JESSIE J: Don't get me wrong, we love Jessie J but seeing her up on a stage throne and singing between the "real" performances was just strange.
