The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will add six of the seven pastors previously barred from its clergy roster due to a policy that required gay clergy to be celibate. The policy was lifted after a vote last year, and this is one of the first groups of LGBT pastors to be reinstated or added. LGBT Pastors who are in commited relationships will now be able to be hired as clergy.
