Dan Choi, who has been on the front lines of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" debate, admitted Thursday that he has been discharged from the Army. Choi released a statement claiming that he had been honorably discharged. Choi spoke to CNN about his discharge calling the decision "infuriating and painful", and went on to say that "remaining silent when our family and community members are fired or punished for who they truly are would be an unequivocal moral dereliction that tarnishes the honor of the uniform and insults the meaning of America."
