Superbowl XLIV is just around the corner. That means it’s time to play America’s favorite game – football player or gay porn star? Clearly the similarities between football players and gay porn stars abound – they dress up in uniforms, they shower together, they play with balls all day. Would you know the difference? On 11/11/11 openly gay singer-songwriter Justin Utley invited friends, fans, celebrities and media to the offices of Big Fuel Communications in NYC to perform tracks and celebrate the release of his first full length album in 6 years entitled 'Nothing This Real'.  The album release follows a string of major market Pride performances in the summer of 2011 including Denver, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Utley's first international performance in Stockholm Sweden.  You can buy Justin's music on Itunes.

The NGLCCNY (National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce New York), along with the divine Deborah Cox, hosted the second annual Shining Stars - New York City's celebration of LGBT and allied business leaders.

OURscene's very own Matt Maggiacomo always looking dapper and donning a tux for this masquerade themed event.  Maggiacomo hit the red carpet talking with guests and honorees before his exclusive one-on-one with Deborah Cox who dazzled the crowd with amazing performance of her back-to-back hits!

This year The Hetrick-Martin Institute received a portion of the evening's proceeds to benefit the students of The Harvey Milk High School and NYC's at-risk youth.  A great organization and worthy cause!
