Grassroots campaign to protest Prop 8 paints a picture to send a message
You've seen their faces on the news by now - Prop 8 protesters and celebrity supporters with "NO H8" painted perfectly on their cheeks. That's the work of Jeff Parshley and Adam Bouska, the co-founders of NO H8, a visual protest that speaks louder than words. The face paint (or is it war paint?) isn't just a clever, media-magnet slogan for rallies and marches. Jeff and Adam have photographed over 750 people and counting, to create an enduring testimonial to the fight against California's Prop 8.OURsceneTV takes you inside the studio where participants ranging from average citizens to celebrities such as Fran Drescher, Ashlee Simpson, Wilson Cruz, and Isaiah Washington have all lent their faces to the cause.
