Abandoned by family, friends and church, a young lesbian discovers a place to call home
Tenaja Jordan was on her way to becoming another homeless gay and lesbian youth statistic when she found the Hetrick-Martin Institute's Harvey Milk High School. When gay, lesbian and transgender youth come out, they're often rejected by their families, ridiculed by their friends, and find themselves in crisis and alone.
