LGBT celebrities and famous gay rights supporters acknowledge the importance of Stonewall
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots and the birth of the modern gay rights movement. If it weren't for those brave souls who stood up in 1969 and said, "No more!" we wouldn't have Carson Kressley, lesbian music festivals, or RuPaul's Drag Race. Thank you, Stonewall Vets! Our favorite out LGBT celebs and famous gay rights supporters know the debt they owe - hear what stars like Miss Fierce herself, Tyra Banks, gay icon, Cyndi Lauper, Top Chef's Jamie Lauren, gorgeous gals Judith Light and Ana Ortiz from Ugly Betty, Michael Musto, lesbian music legends, the Indigo Girls, BD Wong and Suze Orman have to say about the importance of Stonewall.
