These Showers Can Talk, an improvisational comedy produced and directed by Gabrielle Lindau, takes a comedic poke at lesbian stereotypes through the journey of the film’s lead character, Samantha. The 25 minute short takes place in Manhattan where Samantha finds herself in a relationship dilemma with her girlfriend Gloria. Samantha spends the day seeking advice from friends, whose individual dysfunctions outshine Samantha’s problems.

The film takes the viewers on a voyage into 5 New York City bathrooms, each exploiting a different lesbian stereotype: Maggie, The Lipstick Lesbian, Lisa – The Butch Lesbian, Genevieve – The Bisexual Lesbian, Gloria – The Power Lesbian, Daisy, the film’s lone straight character, and lastly The Mystery Voice, a mystery. Each character is amusingly revealed within the confines of her bathroom while performing daily grooming rituals that help to define her label. The conversations between Samantha and her friends further help cement the individual’s role and force viewers to relate to one of the characters regardless of their sexual orientation.

The film stars Danai Ewan and Lori Michaels, musician and rumored girlfriend of Real Housewives' Danielle Staub.
